Manuscripts must be the original work of the named authors. Text, figures, tables or data taken from other sources must be properly attributed and, where required, reproduced with permission.
Where plagiarism is identified before publication the manuscript is rejected. Where it is identified after publication the journal issues a correction or retraction as appropriate, and the authors' institution may be informed.
