Everyone listed as an author should have contributed substantially to the work and approved the submitted version. Contributors who do not meet the criteria for authorship should be acknowledged instead.
Manuscripts must be original, must not be under consideration elsewhere, and must properly cite the work of others.
All financial and non-financial competing interests must be declared, together with the sources of funding for the work.
Studies involving human participants must state the approving ethics committee and confirm that informed consent was obtained. Case reports must confirm that the patient, or their next of kin, consented to publication.
